Dr. James Taylor
Dr. James Taylor graduated from Belleville Township High School East in 1986 and from the University of Missouri in Kansas City in 1991. He attended medical school at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and completed his residency from the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in 1997. Dr. Taylor is a board-certified surgeon in the American Board of Lower Extremity Surgery and has performed thousands of successful surgeries on his patients in the metro-east over the last 20 years. Dr. Taylor joined the practice of Affiliated Ankle & Foot Surgeons, LLC, in 1998, and opened Advanced Ankle & Foot Surgeons, LLC in 2009. The practice has always had a large presence in the metro-east, with locations at Memorial Hospital in Belleville and in O’Fallon, Illinois.
Dr. Taylor is a man of many hobbies and interests, including trains, travel (especially to France), wine (especially from France), Rush (the band), Taylwind (his boat), and spending time with his wife, three children, dear family and friends. Dr. Taylor and his wife Michele live in Caseyville with their three children.
Dr. Bryan Guignon
Dr. Bryan Guignon is from Belleville, Illinois. He completed his undergraduate studies at Saint Louis University. Dr. Guignon graduated from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine with his degree as a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, and went on to complete a podiatric medicine and surgery residency with added credential in reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. He received extensive training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, foot and ankle trauma, sports medicine and diabetic limb salvage and served as chief resident during his final year of training.
Dr. Guignon is an active member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Podiatric Medical Association, and the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Guignon and his wife Anne live in O’Fallon with their three children.
Jennifer Schwigen
Jennifer A. Schwigen, RN, FNP-BC, is a Family Nurse Practitioner certified nationally through the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC). She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2007 and began her nursing career in Dermatology. In 2010, she graduated with honors and earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with a Family Practice specialty and continued in Dermatology. She transitioned into Podiatry in 2012 and is thrilled to be part of an established and growing practice. Jennifer is a member of the American Nurses Association, Illinois Nurses Association and the Illinois Society for Advanced Practice Nursing.
When Jenny is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Justin, being a mom to her son, Sean, and loving on her 2 mischievous dogs, Vespé and Kavik. Interests include anything outdoors, Jeeps, Mustangs, flying, gardening, watching wildlife and most of all – family.
Kendra Green
Kendra J. Green, RN, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner and board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2013, and her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2016, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Family Practice specialty. Kendra is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau, The Honor Society of Nurses. Advanced Ankle & Foot Surgeons, LLC added Kendra to its distinctive list of providers in February 2019.
Kendra has resided in Southern Illinois for most of her life and loves caring for her patients and her community. In her free time, Kendra enjoys practicing yoga, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
